Are you somebody who feels guilty every time you prioritise yourself? Are you someone who feels guilty every time you want to step away from the family zone for some me time? Or are you someone who's guilty of leaving her family at home to pursue her career aspirations? Every time you give yourself, you know the priority, some guilt creeps in. You know, guilt can be a soul crushing emotion, but not letting go of it is even worse. Hi, my name is Ratika Seth and I'm a Life enhancement coach. I'm the founder of the gratitude concepts tribe, and a flight to fulfilment podcast and today, I am excited to share six steps that can help you overcome your guilt syndrome. So, number one, acknowledge it. I mean, come on, it's important to acknowledge the problem to find a solution, right? So accept it, acknowledge it. Number two, know, it's okay. You know, like your family, even you have just one life to live and you're not born to take a backseat. Always. Sometimes you can also sit in the front and enjoy the drive. It's okay. It's okay. You you are, you know, as important a human being as anybody else on this planet. It's okay to have fun. It's okay to enjoy yourself. It's okay to prioritise yourself. Number three, forgive yourself. You know, because because of the guilt which has already crept in, I can also just deny, if you are feeling guilty, forgive yourself because prioritising yourself is not a fault. Understand that it is only when you're happy. It is only when you are fulfilled, that you can give happiness to your loved ones. Number four, reframe your mentality. Keep telling yourself, you deserve what you desire. do affirmations keep briefly reframing your mentality. Number five, focus, focus on making a schedule or a calendar on a weekly basis, where you can spend time or where you can take time out for other things for other people, for your family, for your friends, you know, where you realise that okay, this this hour or this day or this time is sacrosanct to me and I have to be with them, I will be with them. If you have to go out with your spouse, you know, just one day in a week with which you decide, you know, both of you sit down together and decide that okay, maybe every Saturday, we are going to watch a movie together or Every Friday we are going out for a meal together just the two of us. So make a calendar like this, put everything in schedule. you will be able to accommodate everybody, the minute you have it like a timetable in front of you. Number six, decide to do small things that show your love towards your people. This way both you and your loved ones will have a qualitative relationship, not depending on the quantity of time spent. Because relationships are all about quality. Even if you have one hour which you are giving to a person every day, one hour which you are dedicating to some task every day it is okay. As long as you're giving your 100% in that one hour. So these are babies six baby steps. Don't let the guilt hold you down. Take these six steps one step at a time. You will be surprised what happens when you give yourself priority. So try it out. On that note, Much love to all of you.
